Oscar Swindon, with no interest in art other than what profit he can make, senses a quick buck in Berkovic (a once rich man ands avid collector, who now lives in far more meagre conditions) who has called upon him for a visit.
Swindon drives out to his home and quickly discovers that unbeknownst to him, Berkovic’s wife has sold his entire collection and replaced it with blank pictures. Now blind, Berkovic has no idea of the deception and has called Oscar to sell him something so that he can buy his wife - currently visiting a relative - something special for putting up with him all these years.
Suddenly embroiled in a moral quandary, Oscar finds himself going along with the deception - even at the detriment of his own pocket.

Just had the happiest and most fulfilling time filming Dustin Bowcott’s beautiful screenplay “The Invisible Collection” for Psychotastic Productions. Wonderful co-actor Mark Wingett, brilliant D.O.P (Jonny Dixon) and his fantastic crew, Ruby and Harry, and the indefatigable Zoe Crowson without whose focus and energy ( and general loveliness ) none of this would have happened.
Mark Wingett - Actor
I’ve just completed a short film for Psychotastic Productions. I played the part of an Arts Dealer in an adaptation of the short story “The Invisible Collection”. I was cast opposite the wonderful Ian Gelder in this lovely two-handed short film. I enjoyed myself thoroughly with this well organised and highly professional team of Producers, Director and Crew. I was thoroughly looked after and accommodated in a very beautiful part of Britain, that I hadn’t known until we filmed there. I can’t praise or thank the production enough.
I hope you enjoy our little film which was also made to highlight the charity The Phoebe Research Fund (1163875)

Psychotastic Productions brought the stage adaptation of the classic Ken Loach film to the Stamford Corn Exchange. This two hander starred talented David Maley and Steven Arnold. Both put on a truly powerful performance which granted them a standing ovation. Psychotastic are extremely grateful to everyone who helped made this happen.
Steven Arnold - Actor who is best known for playing Ashley Peacock in Coronation Street excelled at performing a number of different characters as The Man. A challenge to any actor Steven gave it everything to bring these characters to life. His quick on stage changes had to differentiate using minimal props and the use of clever characteristics which made his performance simply groundbreaking.
Daniel Maley - Actor was cast to play the young Billy Casper alongside Steven Arnold. Daniel graduated from The Central School of Speach and Drama, BA Acting (HONS) in 2017. Daniel really stood out with his performance during the Auditions arranged by Peter Hunt Casting. He went on to give a phenomenal performance which left the audience stunned with his raw talent. Emotional, innocent and poignant, an actor with so many depths of character.
David Crowley - Director was appointed Associate Director of West Yorkshire Playhouse’s on Beryl’, which he staged for a UK Tour. As well as working in theatre David works extensively in TV & Film on shows such as Channel 4 Hollyoaks. He also shoots his own short films. David gave everything to KES to bring out the absolute potential in both the actors. No stone was left unturned as this perfectionist managed to create a beautiful breathtaking performance.
Peter Hunt - Casting Director is head of casting for Lime Pictures. Peter assisted Psychotastic Productions in casting Daniel Maley. After a day of gruelling auditions to find the perfect actor Peter presented Daniel and there was no looking back. Everyone was in complete agreement that he was perfect for the role.
Zoe Crowson - Producer worked closely alongside businesses to generate the revenue needed to put KES into production. All the publicity around KES was fed through social media and press releases which then led to various radio interviews. Once this was acheived Zoe set to work on working with the director and actors to ensure everything was in place for the actors to give the best possible performance.
